Founded by Police Officers, The Bears in Blue Foundation is a not-for-profit charity organized to supply teddy bears to first responders and school officials to children in crisis situations. Psychological studies have proven that stuffed animals have a significant calming effect on children in stressful or traumatic circumstances.

The Bears in Blue Foundation will be supplying "Beacon the Bear" to the Chicago Police Department.  This is the largest police agency to join  Beacon's crusade!

On September 29th 2011, The Bears in Blue Foundation officially partnered with the Schiller Park Police Department in Illinois.
